Law Enforcement Leaders have been pushing the criminalization of weed for generations. Now that it is lucrative for big business, they want in on the action. Gun toting fools wonder why they cannot find people to work as police officers. These shameful, greedy, money grubbing, low life people cannot bring themselves to release all people serving time for weed, erase convictions from people's criminal records, and provide compensation to people for serving time in jails and prisons across the country.

In a letter to President Joe Biden on Thursday, a group of law enforcement leaders urged the administration to reclassify marijuana from a Schedule I drug, considered to have no accepted medical use, to a Schedule III, which are “substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence,” stated the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) website.
“We are current and former police chiefs, sheriffs, federal and state prosecutors, and correctional officials from across the country dedicated to protecting public safety and reducing unnecessary arrests, prosecutions, and incarceration,” said the letter from the Law Enforcement Leaders to Reduce Crime and Incarceration group, reported The Hill.
“We believe that reclassification under Schedule III would be an important step to help both federal and state law enforcement better prioritize limited public safety resources.”
The letter highlighted the growing disconnect between federal and state marijuana policies, noting that by the end of 2024, 38 states will have legalized marijuana for medical or adult use, often with strong public and legislative support.
“Public opinion on how the federal government should treat cannabis has dramatically shifted away from historic punitive approaches to cannabis use,” the letter reads.
The discrepancy between state and federal views of legal cannabis, the group argued, creates challenges for law enforcement.
“We are concerned about how the direct conflict between state and federal laws that currently exists regarding the handling of cannabis makes it difficult for law enforcement to respond effectively to pressing public safety challenges.”
Other Letters To Biden
In January, a group of 12 Democratic senators, including Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), John Fetterman (D-Penn.), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and DEA Administrator Anne Milgram urging the administration to fully legalize cannabis.
This week, several of America's largest veterans organizations also joined the chorus of those urging the Biden administration and the DEA to lower federal restrictions on cannabis.
Government Health Agency VS. The DEA
Despite the August 2023 recommendation on the part of the Department of Health and Human Services to reclassify marijuana to Schedule III, the decision ultimately lies with the DEA, which made clear this past January that it, and it alone, has the authority to undertake rescheduling cannabis.
"DEA has the final authority to schedule, reschedule, or deschedule a drug under the Controlled Substances Act, after considering the relevant statutory and regulatory criteria and HHS's scientific and medical evaluation. DEA is now conducting its review."

The hired help are out of control. The junior varsity team running the various public agencies in Newton County are fully committed to holding onto their jobs. Competent managers are capable of finding real work when they resign to protest corruption. Judge Horace J. Johnson Jr. is the poster child for this theory. He created a facade of success behind inherited wealth. He was a complete failure as a businessman, lawyer, and moral Christian. Horace never referred one rape victim to our program in sixteen years.
Our efforts resulted in a long series of boycotts by public officials. Only one survivor employed by Kidsnet visited us. She wanted to work with us until she was sidelined for her efforts. We were sent children by a local Newton County Therapy contractor. After six months of horseback riding training, she was prohibited from getting paid for working time with her patients at our facility. We were actively refused access to the children and parents in the community by local law enforcement and therapy agencies. We will be publishing a long history of nonsense on this web site soon.
Our fence lines were cut 36 times over the years. We had three attempted thefts and one theft of a horse. We found the horse three months later in Florida. The horse was hidden while Newton County Sheriff Joe Nichols dragged his feet to avoid finding the thief. The State of Georgia Equine Division was encouraged to send inspectors every day to our facility until we agreed to close down.
After five weeks of regular harassment, an outside veterinarian gave us a clean bill of health and the harassment stopped. The State of Georgia kept an open "investigation" against us for four years. A new Georgia State Equine Division department head was working with us to use their facility in Jasper County to expand our outreach when he heard about our problem. He sent a new inspector to look at our horses who cleared us immediately. We were given an exemption from holding a Georgia State license after this situation.
We stood firm against years of persecution for asking for justice for victims of child sex crimes. We sought justice without fear or favor. We were the lone agents of change willing to challenge the hired help to stop letting 90% of child molester cases escape justice for the victims. We refused to seek or accept public money in return for our silence. Horace refused to remove us knowing the consequences of this nonsense. His family has found out the consequences for their corrupt and cowardly behavior.
We have adjusted our horse program to reflect our current situation. We are still holding public employees to account and maintaining our cart ponies for therapy purposes. We are working at receiving compensation by the Johnson Crime Family. We will use any money received to reopen our operation and bring our horses home.

The volume of corruption is so high we started this web site to highlight the corrupt players. Crime victims and defendants are at the mercy of third-rate talent unable to get real jobs anywhere else.
